Nigeria spends N1.48bn to rehabilitate Koton-Karfe science school

The Nigerian Federal Government, through the National Senior Secondary Education Commission (NSSEC), has allocated N1.48 billion to rehabilitate the Government Science Secondary School in Koton-Karfe, Kogi State. The project was facilitated by Senator Sunday Karimi as a constituency project.

During the handover ceremony for one of 50 selected senior secondary schools nationwide, NSSEC Executive Secretary Dr. Iyela Ajayi stated that the initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to transform national education. The commission emphasized its commitment to improving secondary education through investments in infrastructure, teacher development, digital learning, and school safety. The construction work for the three-block facility was awarded to Messrs First Man Industry Link Ltd.
