Nigeria U-20 team eyes WAFU B title amid calls for sustainable football structures

Nigeria’s U‑20 side, the Flying Eagles, secured a place in the final of the 2026 WAFU B U‑20 Championship after a 4‑3 penalty shoot‑out win over hosts Côte d’Ivoire. The final on 9 August in Yamoussoukro will see them face Burkina Faso, offering a chance to retain the regional crown.
