Nigeria Vice President Kashim Shettima inaugurates projects in Ekiti State

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Ekiti State on Tuesday, representing President Bola Tinubu. He was received at the Ekiti Agro‑Allied International Cargo Airport by Governor Biodun Oyebanji and senior state officials.

During the one‑day visit Shettima performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ekiti Knowledge Zone, commissioned a newly built zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Old Iyin Road, and opened the 1.2‑kilometre Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Flyover at Okeyinmi. The trip marks his second official visit to Ekiti, following a May 2024 trip where he inaugurated a road and an MSME clinic.
