Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing condemns colleagues for sharing late Temitope Osoba’s private chats

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday used an Instagram post to criticize fellow actors for posting screenshots of private conversations they had with the late actress Temitope Osoba after her death. She questioned why colleagues who had not offered Osoba work during her comeback were now publicly mourning her, calling the sharing of the chats “shameful” and urging people to stop the “unnecessary display of grief.”

Osoba’s family announced that she will be buried on Thursday, 13 August 2026 at Saint James Anglican Church in Iperu Remo, Ogun State. A candlelight procession and an artistes’ night titled “An Evening of Love, Music & Memories” are scheduled for Tuesday, 11 August at LTV 8 Blueroof in Ikeja, Lagos.
