Nigerian Afrobeats star Ruger releases 'RU (Raw & Unfiltered) Vol. 1' EP and single 'Private Chef

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Ruger has launched his new EP "RU (Raw & Unfiltered) Vol. 1", a five‑track project that blends dark, heavy‑hitting dancehall rhythms with mid‑tempo Afropop. The release showcases Ruger's signature eyepatch aesthetic and lyrical confidence, addressing rivals, romance and the challenges of independence. The EP has received immediate acclaim from his fanbase.

In parallel, Ruger issued the single "Private Chef" featuring fellow Nigerian artist Mc Morena. The track, part of the "Raw & Unfiltered" album series, mixes Afrobeats, dancehall and smooth melodies, emphasizing themes of confidence and romance. Both releases underline Ruger's growing influence in African music.
