Nigerian Army offers N30m reward for ‘Gentle The Yahoo’

The Joint Task Force South-East, operating under Operation Udoka, has declared Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, widely known as ‘Gentle The Yahoo’, wanted for allegedly threatening peace and security in the South-East region of Nigeria.

The Nigerian Army has announced a N30 million reward for anyone who provides credible information leading to Okorienta’s arrest. In a public notice, the military described the suspect as a threat to regional stability and urged residents to assist security agencies in locating him.

Authorities have provided specific contact lines, including 193 and 0806 795 9570, for reporting information, assuring the public that informants can remain anonymous. The military has cautioned citizens against attempting to apprehend the suspect themselves, advising them to alert security personnel immediately instead.
