Nigerian Conservation Foundation partners for climate action and beach cleanups

The Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) is collaborating with various organizations to promote environmental awareness and climate action in Nigeria.

The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, in partnership with the NCF and Chevron Nigeria Limited, will host the 20th edition of the ‘Walk for Nature’ on October 17, 2026. Themed ‘Inspired for Climate Action,’ the event will take place at Lagos State University in Ojo to encourage citizens to move toward concrete actions for climate resilience amid rising temperatures and flooding risks in the region.

Additionally, Air France-KLM has partnered with the NCF to conduct a beach cleanup and environmental education program for schoolchildren. This initiative, marking the anniversaries of KLM and Air France, aims to raise awareness regarding marine pollution and instill a sense of environmental responsibility in younger generations.
