Otse claims his perception of the singer changed after discovering a WhatsApp group conversation related to the Justice for Mohbad campaign and his own 2024 arrest.

In response, Israel Afeare, a logistics manager for Davido, issued a statement denying that the singer was involved in any alleged plots to have VeryDarkMan arrested.
