Nigerian Institute of Management confers fellowships on NDDC boss and Naval Chief

The Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) has conferred the Fellowship of the Institute (FNIM), its highest professional membership grade, upon two prominent national leaders during its 65th anniversary celebrations in Lagos.

Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), received the honor in recognition of his leadership and contributions to national development. Ogbuku described the fellowship as a call to greater responsibility and a commitment to supporting sustainable development initiatives for the people of the Niger Delta.

Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, the Chief of the Naval Staff, was also honored for his contributions to professional leadership and service to the nation. During the ceremony, themed ‘Leading Through Transformation: The Human Element in Modern Leadership’, Abbas emphasized that while technological advancements are vital, the quality of trained and motivated personnel remains central to organizational success and the effectiveness of the Armed Forces.
