Nigerian leaders honor late Prince Isaac Penawou

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, alongside Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, and former Delta Governor James Ibori, attended the funeral of Prince Isaac Firimokumo Penawou.

The service was held in Akugbene Town, located in the Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State. Prince Penawou passed away at the age of 104. He was the father of Delta State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Prince Kelly Penawou, and Chief Joseph Penawou, CEO of First Marine Engineering Services Limited.

The event drew numerous dignitaries, including Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Emomotimi Guwor, and executives from Renaissance Africa Energy and Seplat.
