Nigerian musicians D’banj and Davido commemorate lost children

Nigerian music stars D’banj and Davido have shared tributes to their late sons, marking anniversaries of their passing.

In 2018, D’banj and his wife, Lineo Didi Kilgrow, lost their 13-month-old son, Daniel Oyebanjo III, following a drowning incident at their residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. At the time of the tragedy, D’banj was in Los Angeles for the BET Awards. The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the death and expressed condolences to the family.

Davido also shared messages to remember his son, Ifeanyi, as both artists navigate the lasting impact of these family tragedies.
