Nigerian politicians launch local youth projects and grassroots mobilisation drives

Allied Peoples Movement senatorial candidate Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo pledged support for youth development and sickle‑cell‑awareness initiatives in the Ona‑Ara constituency of Oyo State, promising to work with local government officials to implement health education, sports competitions and community programmes.

In Ogun State, an aide to Governor Dapo Abiodun inaugurated 396 grassroots polling‑unit mobilisers to back Senator Olamilekan Adeola’s 2027 governorship ambition, outlining door‑to‑door sensitisation, youth empowerment and community engagement efforts across 132 polling units.

Both activities are aimed at strengthening local political support and addressing community needs ahead of upcoming elections.
