Nigerian skit maker Kamo State says relationship with Funke Akindele remains strong

Nigerian skit maker and actor Kamo State, whose real name is Akinyoola Ayoola, told BBC Yoruba that rumours of a fallout with actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele are unfounded. He said the two are "still together, even closer" and that their reduced public appearances are due to increasingly demanding schedules for both of them.

Kamo recalled first meeting Akindele on the set of "Everybody Loves Jenifa," describing her as a role model who treated him like family. He urged fans to stop spreading false narratives, emphasizing there is no fight between them and that their professional collaboration continues to thrive.
