Nigerian streamers debate education and career ambitions

Nigerian streamers have shared conflicting views regarding the importance of formal education for their career trajectories.

Streamer Destinedkid claimed he does not plan to return to school, alleging that the singer Davido discouraged him from attending Adeleke University. Destinedkid stated that Davido advised him against pursuing further education, suggesting it would “spoil your motion.” The claim has drawn mixed reactions on social media, with some users questioning if the advice was misunderstood.

In contrast, streamer Peller expressed an ambition to return to school to better position himself within elite social and professional circles. Peller stated he wishes to be educated to work alongside wealthy Nigerian businessmen such as Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola, noting that educated individuals are often preferred for professional collaborations.
