Gift Orban joins Turkish club Amedspor on season‑long loan with purchase option

Nigerian striker Gift Orban, 24, has completed a season‑long loan move from Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim to newly promoted Süper Lig club Amedspor. The deal includes an obligation to buy, meaning the Turkish side could sign the forward on a permanent contract if certain conditions are met.

Orban arrives after a loan spell at Hellas Verona, where he scored seven goals in 29 Serie A matches, and after previous spells with Stabæk, Gent and Lyon. Amedspor’s management cited the player’s ambition and the club’s project as key factors in the signing, aiming to strengthen their attack for the 2024‑25 season.
