Nigerian Travel Association Deepens Tourism Partnership with Ghana
The National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) sent its Executive Council on a week‑long familiarisation tour to Ghana, hosted by Safari World at its Safari Homes venue in Accra. The delegation visited key attractions including the Aqua Safari Eco Park in Ada and attended a cultural night featuring traditional music and dance.
The mission, described by NANTA President Dr Yinka Folami as a move from policy to practice, aims to boost travel traffic, create joint tourism products and promote Nigerian travel brands in West Africa. Safari World hopes the visit will cement a long‑term partnership that strengthens regional tourism links between Nigeria and Ghana.
Both parties highlighted the potential for increased investment, private-sector collaboration and broader promotion of Ghana as a premium leisure destination for Nigerian and other African travellers.
