Nigerian twins secure jobs at NNPC

Identical twins Hussaini and Hassan Malami have both secured employment with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) as part of the NNPC Tigers Class of 2026.

Hassan initially hesitated to apply due to a misconception that the company only recruits one individual per household. He also held interests in the Nigerian Air Force and was working in the banking sector. After persistent urging from Hussaini, Hassan applied near the deadline. The brothers completed their computer-based recruitment tests on the same day in different locations, with Hussaini in Sokoto and Hassan in Kaduna.

Following the interview process, both brothers received their employment letters on the same day. Hussaini has joined NNPC Exploration & Production Limited, while Hassan, a civil engineer, has joined the NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company. The twins have encouraged other young Nigerians to ignore recruitment myths and apply for opportunities based on merit.
