Nigeria's Aviation Handling Companies Highlight Innovation and Record Strong Profit Gains

Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO) reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Nigeria’s aviation sector through innovation, technology and human‑capital investment at the International Conference on Aeronautical Engineering and National Development organized by the Institute of Nigerian Aeronautical Engineers. The company showcased modern ground‑handling equipment and operational solutions, emphasizing safety, global best practices and workforce development. Chairman Dr Taiwo Afolabi and Managing Director Mrs Adenike Aboderin highlighted the need for sustained engineering capacity and strategic partnerships.

Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) reported a 22 percent rise in profit for the first half of 2026, with net profit reaching N10.85 billion and operating profit up 25.4 percent. Gross revenue grew to N35.36 billion, earnings per share improved, and the firm increased its cash dividend while issuing bonus shares, expanding its share capital. Chairman Dr Seinde Fadeni said the results demonstrate the resilience of the group’s operating structure and the benefits of recent investments.
