Big Brother Naija Season 11 to launch July 26 with record N160 million prize

MultiChoice Nigeria announced that the 11th edition of Big Brother Naija will premiere on Sunday, 26 July 2026. The launch show will air at 7 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family, with a 24‑hour live feed on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 49, and will also be streamed on DStv Stream and GOtv Stream.

The winner’s prize has been raised to a historic N160 million, comprising N100 million in cash and a brand‑new SUV, the largest reward since the show’s debut in 2006. Auditions were held from 22‑24 May in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu, free to anyone aged 21 or older with valid ID. The previous season’s champion, Opeyemi Ayanwale (known as Imisi), won N150 million.

New sponsorships include betting firm betPawa as headline sponsor, with Guinness returning as gold sponsor and Minimie as associate sponsor. Veteran presenter Ebuka Obi‑Uchendu will host the season, which is expected to draw millions of viewers across Africa.
