Nigeria's Golden Eaglets name 62 players for WAFU B U‑17 camp

Head coach Uwejamomere Eboboritse has selected a squad of 62 players – five goalkeepers, 18 defenders, 20 midfielders and 19 forwards – to join the Nigeria U‑17 national team, known as the Golden Eaglets. The players have been instructed to report to the training camp in Abuja, where Eboboritse and his assistants Kalli Mohammed Kachalla and Abdullahi Isa will begin preparations for the upcoming WAFU B U‑17 Championship scheduled for October. Nigeria, a five‑time world champion at this age level, aims to build another title‑contending side.

The call‑up list includes talents from a range of local academies and clubs, reflecting the depth of the country’s youth football pipeline.
