Nigeria's NASENI lauded in President Tinubu's Renewed Hope media tour

During President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Media Tour, a delegation of senior officials visited the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) in Abuja. Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga described the visit as “impressive, impressive, impressive,” while NASENI Executive Vice Chairman Khalil Suleiman Halilu highlighted the agency’s focus on commercially viable innovations, job creation and the Nigeria First Policy.

Minister of Information Mohammed Idris said the tour was meant to show Nigerians how government policies are turning into tangible projects in areas such as drone technology, helicopter assembly, renewable energy, and agricultural mechanisation. He also noted the ₦500 million Innovate Naija Challenge prize fund that supports promising local inventions. The officials stressed transparency, accountability and the role of NASENI in driving the country’s industrial transformation under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
