Nigeria's National Directorate of Employment launches RHEI Phase 3 registration
The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has opened registration for the third phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI III), a federal programme aimed at reducing youth unemployment and poverty. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged 18 to 45, with persons with disabilities expressly encouraged to apply. Registration is free and conducted online through the NDE portal, where applicants provide personal details, identification, education records and choose a vocational, technical or entrepreneurial training track.
In Plateau state, NDE coordinator Fagbemi Joshua Sunday announced that beneficiaries will be drawn from all council wards across the state’s 17 local government areas to ensure equitable distribution. The initiative continues President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, linking skills acquisition, entrepreneurship and public‑works projects to create sustainable livelihoods for Nigerians.
