Nigeria's NDE Closes Renewed Hope Phase III Registration Portal

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) announced that the online registration portal for Phase III of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI III) closed at 4:00 p.m. on 30 July. The portal, launched on 23 July by Labour and Employment Minister Dr Muhammed Dingyadi, was extended by one day after minor technical disruptions on 25 July to allow all eligible applicants to register.

Director‑General Silas Agara said the NDE will now begin collating, verifying and assessing the applications. Successful candidates will be selected in line with programme guidelines and notified through official NDE channels. Agara thanked Nigerians for the overwhelming response and pledged a transparent, merit‑based selection process, warning against misinformation and influence‑peddling.
