Prince Adewole Adebayo has been confirmed unopposed as the Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate for Nigeria's 2027 election, after three years of promoting a comprehensive governance agenda. He argues that Nigeria’s decline stems from political choices and proposes reviving the country’s refineries, ending fuel subsidies, and encouraging mass transport and alternative energy to lower fuel costs.

Adebayo measures economic performance by everyday hardships, asking whether families can afford food, school fees and medical care. He calls for improved tax collection rather than tax waivers, viewing efficient revenue generation as essential for fiscal stability.
