Niger's ENSOA graduates 18th promotion of non-commissioned officers

The 18th promotion of the National School of Active Non-Commissioned Officers (ENSOA) in Agadez, Niger, held its graduation ceremony on August 27, 2026. Named after Adjudant-Chef Adamou Tini Sekou, the cohort includes trainees from Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, Mali, Chad, and Niger.

General Moussa Salaou Barmou, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, presided over the event. He noted that the diverse origins of the trainees demonstrate the regional vocation of the ENSOA training system. General Barmou also conveyed greetings from President Abdourahamane Tiani and emphasized the central role of non-commissioned officers in maintaining professionalism, cohesion, and discipline within the defense and security forces.
