Night Run in Florianópolis and 5K City Race in Santos scheduled for August and November

The Santander Night Run will take place in Florianópolis on 1 August. The event offers 5‑km and 10‑km courses that start at 19:00, with illuminated streets, music and a festive atmosphere. It is part of the largest night‑run circuit in Latin America and can attract up to 150 000 participants nationwide, with trophies for the top finishers in each gender and distance.

A separate 5 km race is set for 19 November in the historic centre of Santos. Runners will finish at Praça Mauá after passing landmarks such as the Museu Pelé and the old coffee exchange. To accommodate the event, the city will close several streets from 03:00 to 12:00 and reroute dozens of bus lines, urging drivers to use navigation apps and follow alternative routes.
