Nightclubs Vértigo (Bolivia) and Costa Ballena (Spain) Closed for Regulatory Violations

Bolivian authorities permanently closed Discoteca Vértigo after repeated violations of municipal operating hours. The Unidad de Defensa al Consumidor inspected the venue on Avenida Ejército and found it serving patrons outside the authorized schedule, triggering the maximum sanction under Decree Municipal No. 426/26.

In Spain, the National Police, together with the Andalusian police unit in Cádiz, intervened at a nightlife venue in Costa Ballena (Rota‑Chipiona) that was admitting twice its legal capacity and had blocked emergency exits. The establishment had sold 600 tickets against a permitted limit of 315, prompting police to halt further entry and file formal complaints for administrative sanctions.

Both actions illustrate stricter enforcement of public‑safety and licensing rules for night‑time entertainment venues in their respective countries.
