Nightmare Shift to launch on PlayStation 5 in August 2026

The independent studio Binary Lunar and publisher Ultimate Games S.A. have announced that the psychological horror game Nightmare Shift will launch on PlayStation 5 on August 13, 2026. The title, which was previously available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, follows Emma, a night shift worker at a remote motel who experiences a descent into madness while dealing with unsettling guests and a sense of being watched.

Inspired by Asian suspense and horror cinema, the game utilizes a walking simulator formula enriched with environmental puzzles and multiple endings based on player decisions. The main story is designed for short play sessions, ranging from 30 minutes to a few hours.
