Nigrán to host cultural concert between Galician and Cordoban choirs

The municipality of Nigrán will celebrate Hispanidad on Monday, October 12, with a musical exchange between the Coral Polifónica Novos Aires de Nigrán and the Coral Martín Códax from the Casa de Galicia in Córdoba.

The concert is scheduled for 18:00 at the Municipal Auditorium, with free admission available until capacity is reached. This event follows a cultural exchange held one year ago when the Nigrán choir traveled to Córdoba to perform at venues such as the Sagrario of the Mosque-Cathedral.

Nigrán Mayor Juan González highlighted the initiative as a way to build a cultural and fraternal bridge between Galicia and Andalusia. The Córdoba-based group will be conducted by Juan Luis González Delgado, while the Nigrán formation will be led by José Alfredo Oliveira. The Coral Novos Aires has a 25-year history and features 51 voices from the Nigrán, Vigo, Baiona, and Gondomar regions.
