Niguarda infrastructure project to begin with 4 million euro investment

A major redevelopment project is set to begin in the Niguarda district on October 6, involving a 4 million euro investment to upgrade infrastructure on via Ornato. The works, spanning 600 meters between via Passerini and via Filicaia, are scheduled to continue until the end of April.

The project includes the installation of 1,200 meters of new tram tracks designed to reduce noise and vibrations, as well as a complete renewal of water pipes, drainage systems, and low-voltage electrical cables.

Due to the construction, tram line 4 will be suspended for approximately six months. To maintain connectivity, shuttle buses will be deployed, and local bus routes will undergo several diversions. Access will remain guaranteed for residents, pedestrians, and emergency services.
