Nihon Falcom and Neowiz partner for ‘White Witch’ revival

Nihon Falcom has entered into an intellectual property licensing agreement with Neowiz for the title ‘The Legend of Heroes III: White Witch’. The agreement grants Neowiz the rights to develop the game for PC and consoles, as well as to handle global publishing.

Originally released in 1994 for the PC-9801, ‘White Witch’ is the first installment of the ‘Gagharv Trilogy’ within the ‘Legend of Heroes’ series. The game is characterized as a “poetry RPG,” emphasizing narrative progression, character dialogue, and musical direction over complex combat or puzzles.

Neowiz intends to leverage its console market experience to recreate the original story and atmosphere for both long-time fans and new players. This partnership aims to bring the classic title to a modern global audience.
