Nihon Falcom plans long-term remakes for Trails series

Nihon Falcom President Toshihiro Kondo has expressed a long-term commitment to producing remakes of 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails' series. The strategy aims to provide a gradual entry point for new players, preventing them from facing a steep narrative jump by moving directly to more recent titles.

With the development of 'Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter' nearing its final stages, the company is already discussing which title to remake next. Potential candidates include 'Trails in the Sky the 3rd' and 'Trails from Zero,' though internal discussions are ongoing regarding which should take priority.

In conjunction with these development updates, a demo for 'Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter' has been released on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The demo covers the first ten hours of gameplay and supports progress transfers to the full version upon release.
