Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter demo released for PS5, Switch, and PC
Nihon Falcom and GungHo Online Entertainment have released a playable demo for the upcoming RPG Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter. The demo is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. For Nintendo Switch users, the demo is also playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 through backward compatibility.
The demo provides approximately 8 to 12 hours of gameplay, covering the game’s prologue and the entirety of the first chapter. Players can carry their progress, including items and story decisions, into the full version of the game upon its release. Additionally, players who import save data from the previous title, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, can unlock the “Classic Style SC” bonus content.
Alongside the demo release, an opening movie has been unveiled, showcasing a 3D full remake of scenes from the original title. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is scheduled for a global digital release on September 17, 2026.
