Nihon Falcom’s Sky no Kiseki the 2nd sets Steam player record

Nihon Falcom’s recent release, ‘The Legend of Heroes: Sky no Kiseki the 2nd’, has achieved record-breaking success on Steam. The title, a full remake of ‘The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC’, has surpassed the concurrent player counts of all previous Falcom titles on the platform, quickly exceeding 10,000 simultaneous users.

The game has received high critical acclaim from players, maintaining an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ status on Steam and high ratings on the PlayStation Store. The remake features a combat system that allows players to switch between quick battles and command-based battles, alongside additional features such as a cooking system and fishing.

Following the launch, the modding community has also become active. On Nexus Mods, various user-created modifications have appeared, ranging from graphical enhancements and 4K textures to quality-of-life improvements like skipping startup logos or removing quest markers to increase immersion.
