Nihon University partners with ETS and IIBC for English education

Nihon University, ETS, and the Institute for International Business Communication (IIBC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance English language education and improve learner proficiency. A signing ceremony was held at Nihon University on August 27.

The partnership aims to leverage the expertise of all three organizations in the fields of education, measurement, and learning improvement. Key areas of planned cooperation include:

1. Utilization of test programs: Nihon University will use ETS programs, such as the TOEIC Program and TOEFL ITP, to support individual student English proficiency through objective metrics.

2. Social contribution of results: The three parties will share and disseminate the outcomes of their initiatives to contribute to English education in Japan.

3. Research and study support: ETS and IIBC will provide expertise in analyzing and interpreting test results to support Nihon University’s educational efforts.
