Nihonbashi to host series of autumn art and jazz events
Mitsui Fudosan is organizing a series of art and cultural events in the Nihonbashi and Yaesu areas of Tokyo this autumn to foster community engagement and creativity.
Key highlights include ‘alter. 2026, Tokyo’, a product design festival running from October 29 to November 1. The event features approximately 55 next-generation creators from various disciplines, including designers, architects, and engineers, who will collaborate on product exhibitions at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall. To support the next generation, student admission is free.
The ‘NIHONBASHI PUBLIC JAZZ 2026 FALL’ will take place from November 1 to November 3, featuring free live performances and DJ sets by international artists at Coredo Muromachi Terrace and Fukutoku no Mori. Additionally, a digital art stamp rally will run from September 1 to December 25, allowing visitors to discover local art spots and earn digital coupons.
Other collaborative projects include a coffee rave at Nihonbashi River Walk on November 3 and an exhibition of works by Malaysian artist Kide Bahadurin, which connects the Nihonbashi area with the Setouchi Triennale.
