Niigata City launches hospitality project for away football supporters

Niigata City has launched an hospitality project designed to support away supporters visiting for Albirex Niigata football matches. The initiative aims to encourage visitors to explore the city beyond the stadium by highlighting local gourmet food, shops, souvenirs, scenery, and walking spots.

In preparation for the match between Albirex Niigata and Kataller Toyama on October 31, 2026, the city is using social media platforms like X and Instagram to share recommendations from local fans. The project includes special benefits at participating shops for Kataller Toyama supporters who display their team uniform or merchandise. Additionally, supporters who complete a survey about their trip can enter a drawing to win Niigata prefecture rice.
