Niigata University of Health and Welfare to host educational workshop

Niigata University of Health and Welfare will host an online workshop on November 2, 2026, focused on the connection between high school and university education. The seminar, titled “What are the results of inquiry?”, aims to address how to evaluate inquiry-based learning in high schools and how to effectively transition those results into university-level study and research.

The event will feature presentations from three institutions: Shibaura Institute of Technology Kashiwa Junior and Senior High School, Kamiyama Marugoto College, which practices Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and Niigata Prefectural Shibata High School. The workshop is designed for high school teachers to explore ways to capture and assess student growth during the inquiry process.
