Nijkerk school korfball tournament to host 1,000 participants

The Gert Krijkamp school korfball tournament will take place from September 23 to September 25 at Korfbalvereniging Sparta/Djops in Nijkerk. Approximately 1,000 boys and girls from about 85 teams, representing primary school groups 5 through 8, will compete for the trophy.

Winners of the final will receive the trophy, and tournament sponsor Expert will provide a 500 euro voucher to be used at Expert Nijkerk. Additionally, winners from each pool will receive a cup. To celebrate Expert Nijkerk's 25th anniversary, a banner competition will be held, with winning teams receiving ice cream provided by Expert and De Nootzaak.

A separate games afternoon for younger children in groups 1 through 4 is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, from 16:00 to 17:00.
