Nik Titanik caricature exhibition concludes in Požega

The caricature exhibition ‘MI HRVATI’ by Nik Titanik (Nikola Plečko) has arrived at its final destination, the Požega City Library. This exhibition marks the conclusion of a multi-year tour that visited 17 cultural and artistic institutions across Croatia.

The collection serves as a 30-year retrospective of the artist's work, utilizing humor to address social and political issues. According to curator Sonja Švec Španjol, the caricatures act as a societal corrective, depicting various figures including politicians, bureaucrats, and social phenomena that have shaped Croatia over the last three decades.

Titanik described the creative process as a form of therapy and a response to the frustrations caused by political and social developments. The exhibition is open at the City Library's Gallery of Light until November 13, 2026.
