Nike and MoMA announce Air Rift 2 collaboration

Nike and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) have announced a second collaboration following a previous release of colorful socks. This new partnership features the Air Rift 2, a reimagined version of the 2002 split-toe silhouette.

The collection includes two primary colorways: ‘Hyper Verde’, which utilizes bright greens, pinks, and yellows reminiscent of pop art screen prints, and a ‘Black’ version featuring ‘Cyber’ panels, ‘Dark Powder Blue’ accents, and a ‘Light Fuchsia’ Swoosh. The design maintains the original's stretchy slip-on upper, with the MoMA logo embroidered on the midfoot, printed on the insoles, and split across the translucent outsoles.

The release is expected in September through the MoMA Design Store, the Nike Snkrs app, and select global retailers. The launch may also include matching split-toe socks.
