Crusoe raises $3.9 billion for AI infrastructure at $30.9 billion valuation

Denver-based AI infrastructure provider Crusoe has announced the initial close of a $3.9 billion Series F funding round, bringing the company's post-money valuation to approximately $30.9 billion. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Mubadala Capital, and Valor Equity Partners, with significant participation from Nvidia, Founders Fund, GIC, and Qatar Investment Authority.

Crusoe is shifting its strategic focus toward modular infrastructure to address the growing demand for AI inference. The company plans to utilize the capital to expand its vertically integrated business and deploy its 'Spark' modular data center units. These prefabricated systems integrate power, cooling, and high-density GPU racks, allowing for faster deployment compared to traditional large-scale campuses.

As of the announcement, Crusoe reports over $140 billion in total contracted value and more than 6 GW of gross contracted capacity, with approximately 1 GW already operational. The company's model spans the entire value chain, from power generation and data center development to cloud computing services.
