Nike announces Fall 2026 release of Air Max Joga Bonito “Neon” sneaker

Nike will launch a new “Neon” colourway of its Air Max Joga Bonito line in the fall of 2026. The model combines the Mercurial R9 football‑boot upper with the Air Max 95 midsole, featuring a black/light‑graphite‑anthracite base with neon‑yellow accents, white laces and visible air units. Priced at $180, the sneaker will be sold by Nike and selected Nike Sportswear retailers.

The design nods to early‑2000s Brazilian football culture, recalling the iconic Air Max 95 “Neon” palette that became popular during Brazil’s 2002 World Cup run. This release continues Nike’s recent strategy of repurposing historic football‑boot silhouettes for lifestyle footwear.
