Nike announces new Dunk and Air Force 1 collections

Nike is launching new collaborative and premium footwear collections. UNION Los Angeles and Nike have introduced the “Natural Selection” collection, which focuses on the Nike Dunk Low. The collection features a reworked Dunk Low with unlined suede construction and a redesigned heel that allows the shoe to be worn as a slip-on. The footwear is available in three tonal colorways: “Eclipse” (Black), “Fatigue” (Cargo Olive), and “Hide” (Brown), the latter featuring a subtle leopard print. The collection also includes apparel such as hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts, and a military-inspired M-65 jacket, scheduled for release on October 30th.

Additionally, Nike is reissuing the Air Force 1 Low Premium “What the L.A.”, a design inspired by various Los Angeles sports teams. The sneaker utilizes team-specific colors without official logos, instead using Los Angeles scripts on the heels and insoles. While the official release via Nike’s SNKRS platform is set for November 5th, some retailers have already begun stocking the model. This release comes following comments from Nike CEO Elliott Hill, who noted that the Air Force 1 remains a vital driver for the company’s full-price business.
