Nike expands Tech collection with new waterproof and fleece apparel

Nike has announced an expansion of its Nike Tech line, transitioning the collection into a year-round wardrobe featuring six distinct apparel platforms. The relaunch is scheduled for November 5, 2026, via Nike.com and select retailers.

The new lineup is led by the Nike Tech SF3, a lightweight, waterproof rain jacket designed for heavy rain. The SF3 utilizes recycled materials and fully sealed seams while maintaining breathability. According to Greg Nolley, Nike’s senior manager for Men’s Sportswear Apparel, the jacket is designed to be an incredibly lightweight protective layer that softens with wear.

Other key additions include the Nike Tech Boreas, an oversized hoodie featuring high-pile fleece paired with water-repellent panels. The collection also includes the Helios, Shori, and Woven platforms, which are designed for warmer conditions. The classic Nike Tech Fleece will remain part of the range, now featuring reflective Bemis tape along the chest and seams.
