Nike eyes potential return to Formula 1

Nike is reportedly exploring a return to Formula 1, potentially through a sponsorship and licensing arrangement. While no official agreement has been confirmed by Nike or Formula One Management, reports suggest the company has held discussions with Formula One Management and has been seen at the Miami Grand Prix.

Unlike previous competitors such as Adidas or Puma, Nike may not outfit specific teams but instead supply products like footwear and apparel to Formula 1 personnel. There are indications of growing contact between Nike and the Cadillac F1 project, as Cadillac CEO Dan Towriss and his wife have received custom Nike sneakers, and drivers have been seen wearing the brand in team imagery.

This potential move would mark Nike’s first major involvement in the sport since its partnership with Michael Schumacher in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Some reports suggest a formal announcement could coincide with the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
