Nike launches 2026 Tiempo Ligera Pro ‘2010 World Cup’ boot

Nike announced a special‑edition release of its Tiempo Ligera Pro boot, recreating the “Metallic Mach Purple/Total Orange” colourway worn during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The retro‑styled shoe features Nike’s synthetic TECHLEATHER upper as an alternative to kangaroo leather and a classic fold‑over tongue that mirrors the original 2010 design.

The limited edition is priced at US $150 and will become available from 20 July 2026, with broader distribution expected before the end of August 2026 for the 2026‑27 season. The launch is positioned as an affordable option for players seeking elite performance, and the line is already endorsed by Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk.
