Nike launches Vegam Run, its first running shoe designed for India

Nike has introduced the Vegam Run, the company’s first running shoe developed specifically for the Indian market. Designed to support a growing community of runners, the shoe emphasizes cushioning, breathability, and durability for both daily training and everyday use.

The development process was notably rapid, moving from an initial design brief to a confirmed product in 55 days, with the full journey from concept to launch taking approximately five months. The design was informed by feedback from Indian athletes to ensure the silhouette meets local training and lifestyle needs.

In India, the Vegam Run is priced at ₹3,795 and will be available starting November 1, 2026, through Flipkart and select retail stores. Wider availability through additional Nike partners in India is expected in spring 2027, while expansion into other global markets is planned for 2027.
