Nike, Salomon, and Teva announce new running shoe releases for September
Several major footwear brands are releasing new running and trail shoes scheduled for September 2026.
Nike is launching the Pegasus Plus 2 on September 3. This updated model features a redesigned upper and an added, re-engineered Air Zoom unit in the forefoot to provide a more cushioned and snappy feel compared to the original version. The shoe is priced at $170.
Salomon will release the Aero Blaze 4 GRVL on September 1. Designed for gravel and light trail use, this lightweight shoe features a TPU-based midsole foam and a specialized lacing system. It is positioned as a high-value option at $140.
Teva is expanding its performance lineup with the Trailpeak, a dedicated trail running shoe set to drop on September 1. This follows the brand's previous attempt at the category with the Aventrail sandal.
Asics is also scheduled to release the Sonicblast 2 on September 1, marketed as a lighter and more flexible trainer.
