Nike to re-release Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared”

Nike is set to re-release the Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared,” a classic colorway originally released in 1991. This specific model is notable for being the pair worn by Michael Jordan during his first NBA championship season with the Chicago Bulls.

This upcoming release returns to the original design details, most significantly featuring the “Nike Air” embroidery on the heel. Previous retro versions in 2010 and 2014 utilized a Jumpman logo instead, making this version the closest to the 1991 original in decades. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the shoe features a white leather upper with light crimson accents, a black heel spoiler, and a visible Air unit in the midsole.

The release is scheduled for November 7 via the Nike SNKRS app. Pricing is set at $215 for men’s pairs and approximately $155 for grade school sizes.
